Join us as we worship, learn, and serve together.
TVPC's mission is to equip disciples and to minister to the needs of others as proclaimed by the Gospel, through serving, giving, and outreach to all people in our community and beyond.
Tough week? We're open every Sunday to welcome you with open arms, share God's love with you and heal your Spirit. Join us as we worship the Lord Our God, celebrate the good news with family and friends, and carry His message by sowing God's seeds of love in our community.
We believe that being a part of a faith family is essential to Christian life and growth. We invite you to join us and become a part of our family. We welcome everyone regardless of race, ethnic origin, gender, marital status, handicap, age, sexual orientation, worldly condition, or any other reason not related to faith in God.
In our worship we use the Presbyterian hymnal and tend to be more traditional as we follow our reformed heritage. We mix modern music, familiar hymns, and drama with traditional readings. Everyone who wants to can contribute by reading, singing, or sharing things about their life.
"I'm really busy.....is church really worth the time?" We think so. Members say slowing down once a week to learn about God, praise God, and feel the caring of their church family gets them through the rest of the week. It helps them keep their priorities straight. Sometimes it's a beautiful song by our awesome choir.... sometimes it's the sermon.... sometimes it's something one of our children say....but they always come away with something good from being at church.
God Is Always in Motion
Terrace View Presbyterian Church (TVPC) is a small but very vibrant church nestled in the heart of the wonderful community of Mountlake Terrace.
For over 50 years we have been blessed with wonderful pastoral support, leadership and an amazing congregation.
Concern For Neighbors Food Bank, an original outreach ministry of our church, remains on our property and continues to serve the local community on a weekly basis.
Much like the early Christian churches, on July 1, 2012 we began our next 50 years of worship by relying on a strong lay leadership and visiting pastoral support.
But God is always in motion and continues to lead us in new ways! Beginning January 1, 2021, we will have Rev. Janine Moriarty (Pastor Janine) teaming up with us as a Contracted Part-Time Pastor. We look forward to seeing the new things God has planned for us and are honored to have Pastor Janine joins us on the journey.
As always, we continue to be a member of PCUSA and remain tightly connected to Northwest Coast Presbytery.
God continues to bless us and our passion is to work for His Glory.
Jesus reminds us daily to tend to those in need and love our neighbors.
The Holy Spirit is always the breath of life to our mighty congregation.
What a joy to be doing God's work here at Terrace View!
